Winter Break

Hi All-

So have been taking a “winter break” so to speak… I have hardly picked up my camera since December, except for a few personal events. It has been a very nice break. I have to say that last year was wonderful, but I got a bit overwhelmed last late fall after all the weddings, family shoots, and the CRFC photos- all on top of my full-time job! It was so much fun but just so much time. Now with spring on its way, I am feeling refreshed from my break and excited to get out shooting again! I have 4 shoots this month, and a few more in the works. This season will be a bit different than last year- I have some personal news. My husband and I are expecting our first child in August! We are thrilled. I have had to slow down significantly with the pregnancy, and I will have to keep being realistic about my commitments and energy levels this spring and summer. I will be doing shoots through July, and taking off for maternity leave in early August (if that baby stays in for 40 weeks). If you are interested in a session this spring or summer, please get in touch soon so we can get it on the calendar!

Jeremy and Tarrah Wedding- Napa, CA

Here are a few shots of a family wedding I photographed in Napa, CA in December. Jeremy is my husband’s cousin, and he married the kind and beautiful Tarrah. The bride and groom’s families were both strong presences at the wedding. It was a beautiful ceremony in the groom’s father’s backyard with a lovely brunch to follow at a local winery.

It was an honor to be part of their big day!
